The Chilean economy is characterized by having a market able to timely address the financing needs of companies listed on the exchange. It provides tools to institutional investors, particularly pension funds, who come to the Santiago Exchange, looking for alternatives to diversify their portfolios. Chile currently has a large share of companies in the retail sector in its list of issuers. The total number of issuers listed in this market, is 212, which have a market capitalization, as of November 2017, of USD $258 billion.

COLOMBIA

The Colombian stock market is characterized by its rapid growth since 2001, when the country achieved the consolidation of a single bourse for trading equities. This has enabled Colombia to consolidated its securities industry as the fourth largest in Latin America, with the help of the entry of major companies in the oil sector, which constitute the most representative within the Colombian market capitalization. As of November 2017 the total value of the 69 issuers in Colombia was USD $113 billion.

MÉXICO

Mexico is one of the most dynamic markets in Latin American securities, the Mexican Stock Exchange provides comprehensive services to facilitate operation and post-trading on an organized capital, debt, derivatives, OTC market and other financial assets. All operations are based on a modern and cutting edge infrastructure. It has a securities brokerage firm, a central securities depository in charge of custody and settlement, a clearing for derivatives and a price valuation company. As of November 2017, 131 domestic companies are listed, 6 foreign and 9 real estate trusts (FIBRAS) and 1 Mortgage Trust, 38 CKD’s. The market capitalization was USD $426 billion.

PERÚ

Peru has a dynamic stock market and expansion process. Its long trajectory, but specially the rapid economic growth of the country, make Peruvian securities industry one of the best projection for the coming decades. In the case of the Lima Stock Exchange are the mining companies, which have greater representation in the list of issuers of that country. The Peruvian market has 234 registered issuers with a market capitalization of USD $100 billion at the end of November 2017.
